Cats scared of dogs?

I recently wrote a poem which I wish to share with you all! It is the relationship that my cat and dog share. 

You’ve heard the tails,  

You’ve heard the rumors, 

Dogs chase cats and cats chase mice, 

But all that proven wrong, 

A mystery unraveled, 

Are cats scared of dogs, 

Or are dogs scared of cats? 

 

Dolly the dog is bold, full of fun, 

Chasing her tail, ruling the park. 

But back at home, her bravery fades, 

When Raffles the cat strides onto the stage. 

 

Raffles, sleek, with eyes of amber fire, 

Moves like a queen, perched ever higher. 

One flick of her tail, one soft little hiss, 

And Dolly’s retreating—she can't deal with this! 

 

“Oh Dolly,” I sigh, “you’re bigger than her! 

You stand so tall, just be the braver one.” 

But Raffles just sits, unbothered, supreme, 

Her presence alone deflates Dolly’s esteem.
